A Philadelphia man was indicted in federal court Thursday for allegedly skimming numerous credit card accounts of customers at a Plymouth Meeting pizza restaurant.
Darnell Greene, 24, was charged with access device fraud, conspiracy to commit access device fraud and aggravated identity theft, according to the federal indictment.
Greene allegedly obtained people’s account numbers by swiping the unsuspecting victims’ cards through an electronic card reader, and he provided a reading device to a former California Pizza Kitchen employee, Jasmine Crowder, who skimmed customers’ cards there in 2008 and 2009, according to Montgomery County court records.
