Sensitive information about young children has been lost, prompting a “serious incident investigation” by health officials.
Parents of pupils at the city’s Paston Ridings Primary School have been horrified to discover that Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust has lost the personal information of 47 children in the reception class.
The trust runs the school nursing service in Peterborough and had been sending documents to the Werrington Health Centre to be filled in.
The documents which have been lost include the name, address, date of birth, NHS number, school and registered GP of each child concerned.
