Aaron Warren Camm pleaded guilty in the Bendigo Magistrates Court to three charges relating to the hack attack, and received a fine and a 12-month good behaviour bond.

Country Liberals president Tory Mencshelyi told the ABC the party was alerted to the website breach last year.

“The party found out in March 2015, through the Australian Federal Police (AFP), that there’d been a breach of the security of our website,” she said.
