A city-based customer care firm has alleged that two of its former employees stole sensitive information while employed by them, and used it to start a rival customer care firm in Dehradun.
In a complaint filed at Udyog Vihar police station on Saturday, Manoj Pandey, senior vice-president of Quatrro Global Services, said the accused, Pramod Mamgain and Vikas Verma, stole their customer database, which “they’ve used to derive unlawful commercial benefit by accessing our customers, leading to our commercial loss while gaining unauthorised access to our customer’s personal information, which could be used for unlawful purposes.”
