Former Virgin Mobile and Gomo customers are the latest to have been informed by Optus that their personal information was exposed in the company’s massive data breach, as an identification repair service reveals it has fielded a month’s worth of complaint calls in three days.

But after a multi-year investigation, Australia’s privacy watchdog was seemingly satisfied by the telco’s privacy protections.
Although there are 10 million reasons Optus might be worried right now, the telco giant may not be the only one to blame for the biggest data leak in recent history.
