Fresh charges have been laid against a suspended doctor accused of hiding a secret recording device in the staff toilet of a Melbourne hospital.
Police re-arrested Ryan Cho at a property in Croydon on Friday before he was interviewed and charged with five further offences, including three counts of producing intimate images, one count of using an optical surveillance device and one count of failing to comply with directions to assist.
Cho, 27, was initially charged with stalking and use optical surveillance device.
As part of the investigation, police revealed “several” more hospitals had been identified as “workplaces of interest” for Cho between 2020 and 2025. While the facilities were not named police said they were located in Melbourne’s CBD and regional Victoria.
