Now what’s going on with this?? WXYZ reports:
The Oakland University Police Department issued a statement on Monday, saying that a number of university employees were among those affected by identity theft involving fraudulent tax return filings.
The Internal Revenue Service is currently investigating. The campus police note that, at this time, there is no evidence to suggest that there is a link between the tax fraud and Oakland University.
