On December 27, Marriott Ownership Resorts (d/b/a Marriott Vacation Club International) learned that _____ timeshare maintenance fee payment slips that had been processed by _____________ Bank were in a box that had been damaged in transit to Marriott’s corporate offices by major overnight shipping service, ________ and that some of the payment slips had been lost.
The payment slips included timeshare owners’ names, addresses, full credit card numbers and card expiration dates.
If you don’t how how to fill in the blanks, I can’t help you, because Marriott’s notification to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office dated January 31 doesn’t include those details.
You’d think they learn eventually – Discloses missing computer tape containing credit card account info, SSNs of time-share owners and customers, as well as company employees. Officials at Marriott Vacation Club International said it is not clear whether the tapes were stolen or lost from the Orlando headquarters. ( 12/28/05)
